Our morning sessions will be BABY ONLY for 0–13 months, with a gentler Halloween experience especially for our littlest pumpkins. 👶🎃

Then our 2:30pm session will be UNDER 2s ONLY for even more little-person Halloween fun. 👻✨

Numbers will be capped on every session so little ones have plenty of space to explore and enjoy it all.

Fun stay and play my children really enjoyed all the different toys and activities set up. Everything is really clean. You can tell it has been set up by a parent because they’ve thought thought of the smallest details like providing wipes, nappy sacks and a prep machine! Staff are really friendly and involved.

I’ve been coming to Sugar Snap with my little boy since he was 6 weeks old and we both absolutely love it. It’s clean, full of gorgeous resources, 2 hours free parking, great little cafe for a cuppa and the staff are just so lovely and kind. It is a great place to make friends with mums and babies at similar stages,  and we have met existing friends here for catch-ups too. Perfect for rainy days and days you just need to get out of the house so you don’t go mad! The sensory room is our absolute favourite and the baby room has been a godsend to keep my sane as my little one is easily bored by his toys at home. There is also plenty to keep him occupied as he grows up so we will still be visiting for years to come.

Visited with my baby on her first birthday, my Mum treated us and came too. What a fabulous place for little ones to explore to their heart’s content in a safe and friendly environment. The Halloween theme is absolutely fantastic, so much effort put in by the venue to make it super special and spooky,  The cafe area is a godsend, offering yummy treats and delicious drinks, with a difference to your everyday coffee shops. The staff were super friendly too, such a refreshing change.

Within each 90 minute session your child will have access to…

Our modern luxury soft play, set up with ball pit, ride on cars and hoppers for extra fun!

A home corner which includes a beautiful wooden Montessori-style shopping market, baby role play, kitchen and dining set and a dressing up rail for all of our imagination seekers!

A Montessori-inspired block play shelf, with access to high quality vibrant building blocks, wooden animals and plenty of resources to really ignite your child’s imagination, building small worlds, stomping through Jurassic Park, building Matlock Farm Park and even the Empire State Building! The possibilities are endless!

A beautiful calm reading area, with a wooden reading arch, cream soft play sofa and cuddly toys for ultimate reading luxury!

Sensory Table - each week we will change our sensory table. You can expect to discover mini-beasts, nature building, small worlds, sensory play and so much more!

Craft Table - each week all the children will have the opportunity to feel inspired and create something beautiful! Whether it be scooping up some gorgeous scented play dough to create a yummy pretend ice cream or making a rainbow shaker! A new exciting craft will be put out every week!

Sensory Space - Our special dark room is filled with different calming areas, bean bags, soft seating, bubble lamps and fibre optic lights for all of our sensory seekers out there!

The Baby Space - our baby space is perfect for newborns right up to our wobbly walkers! You can expect to find soft seating with frosted windows for extra privacy, soft luxury tumble mats with access to sensory toys, ball pit and soft play perfectly safe for babies.

Our space has a baby gate on the door which allows you to sit back and relax with no worries.

Sugar Snap Cafe - You can expect to find delicious coffees made with our premium coffee machine, a range of teas and cold refreshments, and snacks for parents, children & babies!

We’ve been coming regularly for the last few weeks with my 9 month old. It’s a light, clean and airy space and the team put so much effort into the week’s theme. New cafe space is nice (though the tables feel a little squished, especially when using high chairs!) Love that there is a baby only session so babies can safely explore. Great that other baby businesses are invited to the sessions (which are included in the ticket price), such as a sleep consultant. Definitely recommend!

I love this place. I came with my son and now I’m coming with my daughter. It’s such a beautiful play space full of amazing sensory and role play resources. The sensory room is just beautiful with lots of different lights, toys with lights and sounds and comfortable places to lay your baby down. The baby room is just perfect, with a safety gate so the little ones are safe. Lots of smiles from my children when we attend :) The theme changes so there is just the same things out. Effort is made to make it exciting for the kids. The Painting/drawing/making table is the best place to make keepsakes of your baby/childs footprint/handprint/drawings. The little cafe area is lovely too!

Sugar Snap is just the best place! Both of my children loved and love it there! The sensory room is mesmerising! The baby room is safe with a gate on and really well set out. Having some special circumstances, we as parents, felt very well looked after and that they looked after our child so well. They outshine any of the government funded services available and £10 for 2 hours is more than reasonable.
Yesterday was our first visit and we shall be coming every week for the foreseeable future, as we are able.

Loved it! Lots of choice of activity! And easily accessible for children. I would recommend that there were some better food options for dietary requirements or restrictions. I would also recommend having a few bigger sizes in the dress up clothes for the older toddlers too. Overall a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

This playgroup is by far the best we’ve ever been to. It’s so clean, educational and the attention to detail is amazing. The staff are so lovely and make time to speak to you and the children. The only issue I had was that we wanted longer to play! (Although now the sessions have been extended it’s perfect!) We will be attending this playgroup whenever we are able. I cannot recommend it enough.

Lovely space, clean and calm. Not overcrowded. Felt very comfortable with my 2 month old, lots to do for babies and toddlers. Sensory room was great. Baby room was lovely with different toys and different areas. Only improvement for me would be if one of the chairs in the baby room weren't facing out into the main room as would just provide a bit of extra privacy for those of us who are still getting comfortable with breastfeeding in public.  Will definitely be returning and would recommend.

It’s so nice to have somewhere for babies with clean environment and baby sensory toys. The dark area was so good with all the light up toys and then there’s a separate tiny baby area. 
We will definitely be going back

Loved this play centre! It's so rare to find somewhere that is perfect for babies; but my 6 month old enjoyed the full hour! So many toys perfect for his age and the sensory room was brilliant!

What a lovely venue! We were made to feel so welcome and there’s plenty to explore with the little ones. We particularly liked the light room. 
My only additional feedback would be for the cafe staff to know how to use the Tommee Tippee prep machine as the milk wasn’t mixed properly when handed back to me.

First impression was of a bright, clean and very inviting place. It really is . The area is spacious and beautifully laid out with plenty of space for the children to explore the toys and different things laid out for them to experience in their own time and their own way. There was plenty of role play toys and craft tables and the sensory room was gorgeous. Our granddaughter had a wonderful time and we will definitely recommend this place to others and we will most certainly come back and play!

Been to Sugar Snap a couple of times now, it's wonderful! My grandson is 14m and most play centres are too boisterous and physically difficult for him but sugar snap is a whole other world! everything is beautifully thought out and he can access everything. The activity tables have encouraged him to stand to play and he loves the sensory room. it never feels cramped and he can always get a 'turn' on the cars etc. It's much more of a well thought out nursey setting than the usual play centres, and the activities change each week so there's something to interest him.  Can't recommend this place highly enough, it's absolutely the best!
